The world is a stage..

After going to a musical at the theatre the other night, I've been feeling quite melacholy about sitting in the audience rather than being on stage! I love and miss performing so very much, but I still love going to the theatre as much as I can. I remember in Edinburgh during festival time, there were thespians all over the streets, posing randomly, singing unaccompanied atop a set of stairs leading up to an ancient church, performing comedy in a dark and dingy room 5 stories up in an attic, all to crowds of all kinds people. Live performance is such an amazing and enriching thing for everyone to enjoy - performers and audience alike. It tells a story, and it moves you, plus it's heaps of fun.

"Well, I have a dream too, but it's about singing and dancing and making people happy. It's the kind of dream that gets better the more people you share it with. And I found a whole group of friends who have the same dream, and that makes us sort of like a family."
